Faye and Josh are getting married this fall in Memphis. They are off on a new adventure with a move to Tennessee, but before they left they wanted to celebrate their engagement in the city where they met and fell in love.
We began our photo session in Gantry State Park.
Faye shares, “Josh is originally from Memphis. We met in NYC while he was a dental resident at Montefiore and I was a social worker at NYU Medical Center. Our first date took place at La Biblioteca in Midtown East. I knew immediately that he was special. We laughed throughout the entire night and stayed until the restaurant closed.
After our first date, our relationship took off quickly. Nine months later, we were engaged!
Josh proposed in front of the pasta counter at Eataly. This was mainly because of my nickname for him–noodle.”
Faye shares, “A few weeks ago Josh and I moved to Memphis, where he was accepted into a periodontal fellowship program. We are excited to get married in Memphis in October and start our next adventure together! We are especially grateful to Jessica for capturing such special memories for us in Long Island City, where we used to live and fell in love. ”
