Cathy and Adrian are dog lovers, Brooklyn lovers and such a sweet couple. I met them in Brooklyn’s Carroll Park for their engagement session.
Cathy shares, “We chose to take pictures with Max in Carroll Park because it is one of our favorite places to take him on walks. It’s also where Adrian proposed to me (on a walk with Max), so it’s very special to us. Max is usually more responsive to our commands than he was that day, I promise! I think it was just too hot for him.”
Max was so dapper in his polka-dot bow tie. I love it when couples bring their pets along for the shoot!
Next stop was Dumbo and the waterfront. We found lots of cool street art and the perfect word for an engagement session… YES!
Cathy continues, “We wanted to take pictures in Dumbo because we are getting married in Brooklyn and the Brooklyn Bridge plays a central role in the overall theme of our wedding. We love Brooklyn and we wanted the engagement pictures to really show that. We had originally considered getting married outside at Pebble Beach because of the gorgeous views, but decided against it, so having the engagement pictures taken down in that area allowed us to incorporate our original idea into our pictures.”
These doors match Cathy’s dress. Too perfect!
They will be married this summer in Brooklyn.
